This guide is here to help you feel comfortable, informed, and prepared for your session.
Every session is unique, and your experience will unfold in a way that supports your personal wellbeing.
What Is Sound Meditation?
Sound Meditation is a gentle, holistic practice that uses sound, vibration, and intuitive awareness to support relaxation, emotional balance, and energetic harmony.
Sound instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, voice, or other resonant tools may be used to create soothing frequencies that support the body and mind in returning to a natural state of balance.
Sessions are designed to create a calm and supportive space where you can rest, relax, and reconnect with yourself.
What does intuitive mean?
This means I’m paying attention to the body’s energetic and nervous system responses.
As the session unfolds, I pay attention to areas that feel tense, depleted, emotionally held, or energetically stagnant, and I adapt the sounds and instruments accordingly.
Sometimes I may reflect observations, themes, images, emotions, or impressions that arise during the process afterwards. These are never presented as absolute truths or diagnoses, more as gentle invitations for reflection.
You are always in control of your experience. Nothing is expected of you emotionally, and you never need to share more than feels comfortable.
Some people experience the session primarily as deep relaxation and nervous system regulation, while others find it emotionally insightful or personally meaningful.
My intention is to create a grounded, respectful, and non-judgmental space that supports whatever experience is most beneficial for you.

What to Expect at a Sound Bath
A sound bath is a group sound meditation where you are invited to lie down, get comfortable, and immerse yourself in the sounds and vibrations of singing bowls and other resonant instruments.
Unlike a traditional meditation, there is no need to concentrate, follow instructions, or quiet your thoughts. You can simply settle in, close your eyes if you wish, and allow the sounds to wash over you.
Before the Sound Bath
When you arrive, you’ll have time to find a comfortable place to settle in. You’ll be invited to lie down on your mat, make yourself cosy, and get comfortable before the sound journey begins.
You may wish to bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a cushion, and anything else that will help you feel relaxed. Wearing comfortable, warm clothing is recommended, as your body temperature may drop when you are resting.
During the Sound Bath
The session begins with a gentle introduction to help you settle into the space. I’ll then play a selection of singing bowls and other instruments, creating layers of sound and vibration that fill the room.
You are welcome to lie down or sit comfortably, whichever feels best for you. You may close your eyes, rest, or simply listen.
There is nothing you need to do, and no particular experience you need to have. You might find yourself drifting into a deeply relaxed state, noticing sensations in your body, or simply enjoying the sounds. You might even fall asleep, which is fine.
The session will gradually come to a close, with time for you to gently return to your surroundings before getting up.
After the Sound Bath
You’ll be given a little time to rest and return to full awareness before leaving.
You may feel calm, refreshed, sleepy, or reflective afterwards. If possible, allow yourself a little breathing room before returning to your usual activities.
Above all, a sound bath is an opportunity to pause, step away from the noise of everyday life, and give yourself some time to simply be.
What to Expect at a Private Session
Sessions begin with a brief check-in to understand how you are feeling and what support you are seeking.
You will then be invited to relax comfortably, either lying down or seated.
During the session:
- You may hear a variety of soothing sounds
- Vibrations may be felt within or around the body
- You are encouraged to simply rest and receive
- There is nothing you need to “do”
You remain in control and may speak up at any time. Some sessions may include intuitive observations or gentle guidance, depending on your needs and preferences.
If gentle touch is used, it will always be discussed and agreed upon beforehand.
